Organizing After Christmas

Our children are showered with tons of gifts during the Holiday season and I know I am not alone when I say I barely have room for the many toys and items that Nori already has. Here are some things I am doing to get my house organized after Christmas!

1. Get rid of any toys that your child no longer plays with or shows little interest in. Get rid of any clothes, coats or shoes that child no longer can fit. You can give them to someone you know who has children in that age group or donate them to charity.

2. Purchase a toy box and/or additional storage units to house your child’s new items. See below some of my favs I purchased for Nori’s room. Items are from Target unless it states ofter wise.

3. Don’t take all the toys to your child’s room or play area at one time. If you have room in your house to store some of the new toys and gradually bring them to their designated area, then do so.

4. If all fails, start house shopping for a bigger house. (lol) Just kidding you can definitely make the most of your space with a little creativity.
